Who can partner with SideUp?
Local businesses and brands, experts and service providers such as HR consultancies, bookkeepers, trainers, employment attorneys and recruiters, benefits consultants and brokers, accountants, HR and payroll platforms, and content creators such as podcasters, writers, speakers and researchers.
How does the local marketplace work?
You set an offer for SideUp members, like a discount, a freebie or both. Members can find you in the app when they want somewhere nearby to spend their budget, and pay with their SideUp card like any other customer. Using the Marketplace is entirely up to each member.
Does it cost anything to join?
Today, joining the Marketplace is free. We encourage partners to offer SideUp customers something extra, like a discount, but each partner sets its own offers.
How do partners join?
You can apply by emailing us, be introduced by someone in our network, or we may invite you if we think you'd be a great fit.
Do I need new hardware to accept the card?
No. The SideUp card is a Visa card, so if you already take card payments, you can accept it.
Can SideUp clients use partner services?
Yes, whenever they want a hand. Companies on SideUp can be introduced to independent experts in our network, from HR consulting, bookkeeping and payroll to employment law, recruiting, culture training and leadership coaching. Partners are independent businesses, and each sets its own terms and offers.
How do resellers and referral partners earn?
Resellers earn commission on the clients they bring, and referral partners earn rewards for every client who joins. We'll walk you through the details on your first call.
What kind of content partnerships do you offer?
Episodes of the Stayconomics Podcast, guest articles on the Stayconomics blog, co-hosted webinars and events, and joint research on benefits and retention. Got another idea? Pitch it to us.
